Dansko's Sonja for Wide Feet - I love the look of the shoe in
Brown Latigo. Beautiful leather. I was confused on whether to
go up to 39, since I have problem feet and need 8.5 wide. Glad
I did. Fit is fine, plenty wide. My only problem is they're a
bit like walking in heels. I'm a bit wobbly in them. Sole
seems stiff to me. Hoping to get used to them more, as I wear
them. Think they may do better with socks, in fall/winter. My
first pair of Dansko's.
Great shoe for wide feet - Sonja fits me well. Dansko
Professional size in the same size was too tight across the
instep. I also have Dankso Monika in black oiled in the same
size and love them. One thing: At first I could wear Sonja
without socks, but now need socks to keep my toes from
rubbing. Not so with Monika, which doesn't seem to have
stretched out a bit. Still, Sonja is extremely comfortable,
and I get lots of compliments on these shoes. Great comfort -
This is the fifth pair of Danskos I have purchased and love
all of them. They are all equal in comfort but this one may
not be as stylish but still looks great. I spend a lot of time
on my feet at work and have found my back does not hurt any
