Great Shoes for my first pair of Danskos - I bought these
shoes from a Scandinavian gift shop in my hometown. I am glad
that I was able to try them on before I purchased them. I was
a little bit apprehensive about spending over $100 for a pair
of shoes, but I'm happy to say that the price is well worth
it. My feet, knees, and legs feel so much better. I wear these
shoes every chance I get. This particular pair runs a little
small in the length and I have a wide foot. I've tried other
styles by Dansko and found them to be a little narrow. I
usually take a 38 W or size 8 W and I bought these in a 39. In
other styles I would have to take a 40. I don't mind buying a
larger size as long as my feet are happy. I will definitely be
buying more styles to go with my wardrobe, provided that they
fit well.
Saved my foot. I was in a car accident Jan 21, 2003. Hit black
ice then a tree. Don't remember anything after that. Had head
trauma, broke my shoulder and crashed my foot. Was flown to
the hospital.I thank god I'm still here. And I thank you I
still have my foot.The car was crashed around me and I had to
be cut out and they told me if I didn't have on the shoes I
did the metal from the floor would of cut my foot off. Thank
